Al-Quds Index declined at the beginning of today’s session by 0.10% or 0.49 point to 517.02 points to trade in red territory after it closed yesterday at 517.51 points.

The general index declined by 0.06% losing 0.16 point to 273.95 points after it closed yesterday’s session at 274.11 points.

Total of 17.9 thousand shares were traded through 15 transactions at a turnover of $29.16 thousand. Shares of 6 companies were traded, 2 rose, 2 declined and 2 kept flat.

The two gainers are Golden Wheat Mills PLC which increased by 4.17% and Palestine Islamic Bank which rose by 1.55%.

On the other hand, the two losers are The National Bank which declined by 1.7% and Palestine Development and Investment which shed 0.63%.

It should be noted that Al-Quds Index closed yesterday’s session declining by 0.36% losing 1.88 point at 517.51 points after it was pressured by investment sector which lost 0.75%. The general index decreased by 0.31% losing 0.87 point and closed at 274.11 points.
